Who we are
GlowDuty ("we", "us") operates a hand-picked online shop at this website. If you have any questions about this notice, contact us at hello@glowduty.example.
What we collect
- Account details: email, full name and password hash.
- Order details: shipping/billing address, phone, order history, payment metadata (Stripe handles card data).
- Wishlist and cart items you save while signed in.
- Marketing preferences (opt-in status and timestamp).
- Basic technical data required to run the site (essential cookies, IP for security).
Why we use it (legal basis)
- Contract: to process your orders, fulfil delivery and provide your account.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting and consumer-law recordkeeping.
- Legitimate interest: fraud prevention and improving the store.
- Consent: marketing emails and non-essential analytics. You may withdraw consent anytime.
Who processes your data
We rely on carefully chosen sub-processors: our hosting/database provider, our fulfilment partner, payment processing via Stripe, and email delivery. Each processes personal data only on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax law (typically 6–10 years). Marketing consent records are retained while you remain subscribed and for a short period after unsubscribing.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated personal data ("right to erasure").
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time — untick the marketing preference in your account or use the unsubscribe link.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@glowduty.example. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent — controlled from the consent banner on the site.
